Phase 2 Homes BlogThoughts from the folks at Phase 2 Homes
Phase 2 Homes will be attending the JLC Live Residential Construction Show in Seattle from November 12 - 15. We are hoping to get some more interesting renovation ideas from the conference which includes sessions on green building, energy efficiency and custom home detail wood working. The conference also has a big exhibit hall with many big industry players where we are hoping to gain some
I just returned from my volunteer work week in Alabama. It was a really great experience both from a work and personal perspective. The house we worked on was really in bad shape, both from neglect and from Katrina
We closed our sale today on the Carroll Street, bringing this project to completion. It took us longer than we had anticipated (by about 1 month), but the end result was worth the extra time. We are really proud of the house and feel it really enhances what was already a great neighborhood. We had the fortune to get to celebrate with the new owners at the house this evening with some champagne
With the Carroll Street project wrapping up, I decided a good way to take a break after all our hard work would be to give something back to those in need. I was shocked to learn of how many homes in the South are still in need of serious repair 3 years after hurricane Katrina. Towards the end of October, I'm going to be travelling to Alabama (Bayou Le Batre - located in the far southern part of
We accepted an offer last night on the Carroll Street house. Our thanks to all that showed interest! This has been a great project house and we are really happy with the results and also with the reactions people have had to the finished product. Keep an eye out for our next project house. It does take time for us to find the right opportunity, so check back every so
We've extended the offer acceptance timetable through the end of today due to some time constraints for a couple parties that were interested in submitting offers. If others are still interested but couldn't meet the timeline yesterday, there is still time today. Please call Steve @ 408-480-1914 to let us know what your plans are and when you plan to have your offer ready.
Thanks for the great responses at the open house this weekend! We enjoyed having the opportunity to get to meet people and show all the great features of the Carroll Street house. We will be accepting offers to purchase the house on Monday September 22nd. If you are interested in making an offer, offers can be dropped off at the Carroll street house between 5pm and 6pm on Monday. The offer
We had a great day today with our first open house at the Carroll Street house. The feedback from those that were able to come was overwhelming. It was great to see the excited reactions to some of the features we've incorporated into the house and the great response to our design descisions. There were a few people we had heard from that were not able to make it today, so to accomodate those
After several delays and frustrations getting our contractors schedules in line, we are pleased to announce that we will finally be ready to show the Carroll Street house this coming Saturday, September 20th. The open house will be from 11am till 4pm. We'll be demonstrating the numerous features of the house as well as serving some light appetizers and drinks. Make sure you come by and take a
We are still on track to show the house this weekend. Lots of details are getting wrapped up this week and the house is really starting to look finished. The front of the house has been landscaped. The driveway was poured on Monday and looks great. The fencing along the driveway is also finished up. The exterior lighting on the back of the house and on the garage was installed.
