The grass was installed over the weekend in both the front and back yards. The new sod and sprinkler system makes a huge difference in the outside appearance of the house. Things look really clean. If you get a chance, take a drive by and see what a difference the new lawn makes. We also installed some lighting outside along the walk to the front porch and beneath the big tree in the front yard.

The tile work in the bathrooms was completed over the weekend along with the slate tile on the front porch. Both areas came out really well. We especially love the look of the slate on the front porch. Along with the new grass, it makes the front of the house look really different.

Also over the weekend, we finished relaying the wood floor back into the kitchen, mudroom, pantry, great room, hallway and front bedroom. We are going to install carpet into the master bedroom and the small 3rd bedroom as there was not enough of the original floor to complete these rooms and matching the original floor material was going to be tough. It should look really nice. 

On Tuesday of this week, the stucco on the new chimney and some areas of the side of the house was completed. Once it has dried (roughly 4 days), the painting on the outside of the house should be ready to go.
