395 Carroll St, Sunnyvale

395 Carroll, Sunnyvale

This is a quaint 1928 bungalow situated one block away from the up and coming downtown area of Sunnyvale and within walking distance of the Sunnyvale Caltrain station. The home is 1268 square feet in size (not including the small basement room) and sits on a 6110 square foot corner lot. In its original configuration this home was 3 bedroom, 1 bath with a detached garage. The vision for this home is to restore some the of the original style while bringing the house's functionality and energy efficiency up to current standards.

Important Sale Information Update!

We will be offering the house in a private sale to our registered clients before any offering of the house on the open market. As a registered client, you will have the option to see the house in a private walk through before our date for accepting offers. We'll be notifying registered clients of the dates and time options for the private walk through on September 4th via email along with the sale information. To become a registered client, click the "Notify Me" link along the right side of this page.

What will it be like when finished?Floor Plan

Our new plans will bring another bathroom to the house's new master bedroom making it a 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom house. We are putting in all new copper plumbing, a new electrical system, structured wiring for network and cable/satellite, a new laundry room, separate pantry, a new mudroom, an entirely new kitchen with an island and stainless steel appliances. Throughout the home, the original hardwood flooring is being restored where possible.

Energy Efficiency and Environmentally Friendly

One of the goals of Phase 2 Homes is to make each of our homes energy efficient. All the windows are being replaced with energy efficient double pane windows. We are also putting in all new insulation in the walls and attic spaces. In the kitchen, all the appliances are being replaced with Energy Star appliances. We are also installing a new energy efficient furnace and Air Conditioning unit. The wood burning fireplace is being replaced with an environmentally friendly gas burning fireplace.

When will it be finished?

Our current target is the end of August 2008 to have the house for sale.
